We keep the finder simple.

Effective September 22, 2026. The finder uses the answers you select in your browser to show an on screen result. It does not ask for your name, street address, vehicle identification number, electrical panel photos, utility account information, or payment details unless you choose to provide an email address, phone number, or ZIP code.

When you request installer matching

If you request installer matching, we collect the ZIP code and any email address or phone number you choose to enter, plus the finder answers needed to understand the request. We use this information to understand where installer matching may be useful and to contact you only if you provided contact details.

We do not sell your personal information. We will only share an installer matching request with an appropriate installer if you checked the consent box on that request.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive the email address and information you include in your message. Use the contact page guidance and do not send sensitive information.

Usage analytics

If we enable site analytics, we use it to understand aggregate use of ChargePort Hub, such as page visits, planner completions, calculator use, and product-link clicks. We do not send your finder answers, email address, phone number, or ZIP code to our analytics provider.

Public charging map

The public charging map is embedded from Open Charge Map. If you search for a place or allow location access inside that map, Open Charge Map may process that information under its own privacy practices. ChargePort Hub does not receive the location you enter into the map.

Affiliate links and other sites

When you click a product link, an affiliate network and retailer may collect information needed to attribute a purchase. Those third parties have their own privacy practices. ChargePort Hub does not control those practices.
